With over 33 years of experience in Real Estate Development, Investment, Management, and Project Entitlements, Mike has a wide range of skills with an emphasis on Retail, Industrial/Commercial, and Residential development.
During Mike's career he has successfully entitled and developed two regional power centers consisting of more than 1,500,000 square feet of retail. He has also developed seven neighborhood shopping centers totaling more than 500,000 square feet, multiple industrial properties and the entitlement of over 1,000 residential units.
Current projects include the entitlement of a 70 acre business park and completing the entitlements on a 1,500 residential unit master plan community which includes 285,000 square feet of office/commercial and 150,000 square feet of industrial. This was the first successful project during the first ten years of the Ventura County wide SOAR Ordinance which requires local residential voter approval.
Parkstone Companies is active in investments of existing real estate projects. The regional office located in Westlake Village, CA is currently managing more than 1,500,000 square feet of office, retail and industrial located in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. Additionally, Mr. Penrod is active in numerous business organizations and charities.
